In Flamentex, every year, we continue supporting flamenco fashion. A tradition we want to preserve through younger generations, as we believe they are the future promise of our fashion.

This year, the latest award has been given to the designer from Granada, Carlos Checa, for his collection "Locas por Hollywood" [Crazy about Hollywood], awarded Best Flamenco Collection. Also during the awards, José Joaquín Gil Macías and his collection "Nature", received a special mention 2020 SIMOF.

Added to which, we will have the chance to enjoy Carlos Checha at the next 2021 SIMOF, on the professional catwalk, as well in the Flamentex Awards with the prize of a €1,000 in fabrics.

The judges are comprised of: Cristina Forner, Pilar Vera, Rocío Montero, Virginia Vargas, Rocío Ponce, Cristo Bañez, Benedetta Grisanti, Roberto Egan, Tony Benítez, Marisa Navarro, Christian Gross Guille, José Víctor Rodríguez, José Luis Medina Del Corral, Rocío Osorno, Mario Niebla, Antonio Gutiérrez and Madame de Rosa.
